Vesta Customer Care: From Purchase Through Possession

Buying your first new home is exciting, and perhaps even a little overwhelming. At Vesta we understand this and have a comprehensive Customer Care program to help guide you through the process. From purchase to move-in, and beyond – we’re with you every step of the way.

Pre-Closing: You’ve paid a deposit and the contract is firm!
  • Appointment Call: A member of the Vesta Customer Care team will contact you to set-up a walkthrough of your new home approximately one – two weeks prior to your closing date.
  • Home Orientation: This one – two hour walkthrough provides you with an in-depth orientation of your new home. Our Service Manager will review the inner workings of your home, from setting the programmable thermostat and changing the furnace filter, through safety features and locating the water shut off valve.
  • Homeowners Manual: At the end of the walkthrough you’ll be given a comprehensive owner’s manual that outlines our one-year Vesta warranty program and third-party warranty coverage.
  • Deficiency Fix: Our goal is to have the house move-in ready before your walkthrough. However, if any touch-ups are noted we will have them fixed prior to your closing date.



Closing: You are now a new homeowner!

  • Key handoff: When the big day arrives a member of our team will meet you for a final home review and to hand over your new keys.



Post-Closing: You’ve moved in and are enjoying your new home!
  • Homeowner Survey: Gathering feedback on your Vesta home buying experience helps us to improve our Customer Care program. Thirty-days after move-in a third-party homeowner survey from AVID will be sent to you. This is your unique opportunity to help us plan for, and build future communities.
  • One Year Vesta Warranty: You’ll enjoy peace of mind with our one-year Vesta Warranty program. We offer all of our new homeowners a 90-day and one-year service appointment to address any issues. This can be booked through the Customer Care section on our website.
  • After buying a Vesta home our Customer Care team is always available to answer your questions or address any concerns - whether you’ve just moved in, or have lived in your home for years. Simply complete an online service request form and we’ll take care of you.
